With two years in the making- Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s “Magical Thinking” showcase was defiantly worth the wait. Corey Helford Gallery yet again brings another amazing exhibition into their gallery. With Jasmine’s very first large-scale installation, and many new beautifully framed acrylic paintings she really makes you feel the magic. “Magical Thinking”- explores Jasmines fantasy mind with very well detailed dragons, mermaids and fairies that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Something I’ve always said is that- it doesn’t matter what you believe in, even if you believe in damn mermaids as long as you believe in something because then- that’s when things eventually come to life. Jasmine has defiantly brought hers’ to life, she has freelanced projects for some major companies from fantasy conventions to even Disney. With a combination of her background in art history, amazing talent and imagination how could she have not. This was my first time viewing Jasmine’s art work in person and I was extremely impressed to say the least. She has defiantly became one of my all time favorite artist.
