Curated by Bill Dunleavy and Anson Cyr- Superchief Gallery presents an exhibition on street photographers with the essential reasoning of pure talent and love for documenting a certain lifestyle through photography. With social media being as huge as it is now, it has come to seem that many people will just share images for the likes or for some sort of validation with out really having any motives other then to get noticed and rank up likes on their images. FUCK THE LIKES VOL.1 -is a showcase poking fun at this concept of thinking. Superchief in this showcase simply wants to push ones boundaries to say FUCK THE LIKES, and really do it for the art. After all documenting through photography will always be a lifestyle- never a trend. Below are some of my favorite works from the showcase that I have photographed. Enjoy.
